Crystocraft uses an icy mountain stainless steel base to keep your whiskey chilled, without the irritation from ice cubes that dilute your already tasty drink.
Why should whiskey be chilled when drinking?
There’s no right or wrong way to serve whiskey. How you serve your whiskey all boils down to your personal preferences. Most experts claim that whiskey is considered best at 15-18 °C or room temperature. Some drinkers also prefer drinking whiskey straight from the bottle to savor its authentic flavors. If you also want to feel the kick in an instant, trying it straight first is an excellent idea.
Stainless Steel Base
The base of the chilled whiskey glass is made of stainless steel, machined and fine polished to shape of a mountain. The whiskey glass on top of it matches the curve of the mountain contour smooth connection between the base and the glass.
Freeze Base Beforehand
Before serving the whiskey, simply put the stainless steel base in the freezer compartment in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, until you stop hearing liquid inside. This then allows you to enjoy the chilled base for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. This gives you the opportunity to easily refill and enjoy plenty of drinks in the whiskey glass.

With a drink starting at room temperature of 28 Cº, the Stainless Steel Mountain Base can continuously chill the drink to 18 Cº. It then takes over 2 hours and a half to get to a similar point of its original temperature of 25 Cº with a steady increase. They say that the best temperature to sip your whiskey is between 15 and 20 Cº, and the Stainless Steel Mountain Base gives your beverage that perfect temperature to enjoy your cooled whiskey for about 30 minutes without worrying about diluting the whiskey with ice, and taking your time appreciating the nuanced flavour.
